Ellie said ‘I like the name
as its different to a lot of names and it hasn’t been used’
I like the comment Ellie has
made as she has stated that my name is original and she hasn’t heard it before,
the fact she likes the name has confirmed my thoughts on the name as someone
from my focus group is attracted by the name therefore this should work with
people of a similar age.
Ellie also said that a lot of
popular magazines have the same idea for a double page spread and are very successful
with this.
This reassures me as my idea
for a double page spread which is to do a feature of an artist as popular
magazines do the same and it is enjoyed by many readers therefore I have the
right idea for my magazine to keep it professional and interesting.

Kurtis said my name for my magazine is ‘A suitable name’
This therefore suggests my
name will be aiming at my primary audience and is suitable with the genre and
my name should work well as a rap magazine and will interest people into
reading if they are fans of rap.
He also commented on the
colour scheme I have chose (black, white, yellow) he said they are ‘contrasting
colours so they stand out which is good’
This also tells me that the
colour scheme I have chose will be suitable with the magazine and the colours
will contrast with each other well and this was my idea at the beginning
therefore he has backed up my general thoughts about the colors I am going to
use. The colour scheme interested most of the people in my focus group therefore
I am hoping this will attract my primary audience to read my magazine.
Someone else in the focus group stated 'the colors support the genre well'
i found this statement very interesting as i hadn't thought that colors could support a genre however when he expanded on this he said he has seen these colors used in most rap magazines he has read, this therefore supported my choice of colors i am going to use as now i know other magazines also use similar colors and people can now also tell the genre of the magazine by certain colors being used to represent the genre rap.
